We all know the saying “When you empower a woman you empower the whole world”. This is what the Women@GoDo program of GoDo hUB is set out to do; an awesome program that gives women the rights to education, financial literacy, support, mentorship and much more, thereby contributing to the SDG5. I am very honored to be involved with the Women@Godo project to empower and educate 10,000 women and girls by 2030. A big shout out to CFA, the Founder of GoDo Hub and his team for the great work and laudable programs happening on the continent. Keep it up guys!
The Women@GoDo program of GoDo hUB is a fantastic project, the only of its kind, specifically targeted at contributing to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 5). As the slogan goes ‘At GoDo hUB we take women seriously’. I am grateful to CFA, the Founder of Good hUB and his team at Women@GoDo for the great work being done and the laudable future plans for empowering women. CFA is the epitome of startup culture. We all know that when you train/empower a woman, you have empowered many families. We are very pleased to be involved with the projects of Women@GoDo.
GoDo.Ng is a gem tucked away in Ikeja GRA in the city of Lagos. The best way to describe GoDo.Ng is like an iceberg. You see what is above the water is nothing compared to what's under the water. When you encounter the depts you are totally blown away. GoDo.Ng was the meeting point for Founder Institute, and It was there I got one of the best entrepreneurial experiences to date. It was a meeting point for coming in contact with great mentors who have blazed the trail of the Tech ecosystem. It was also a place where new relationships and connections were made. Best of all, it was a place that opened my eyes and provided me with the knowledge, experience, and resources that I needed to set my start-up ablaze.
GoDo Hub just like her co-founder CFA has been very supportive in terms of tech inclusions for women. He has scaled my work! He has published and recommended lots of activities around women. He has connected my organization and I to different opportunities and networks that we have lavished on for success.CFA is readily available at any time to provide anything ranging from advice to mentorship, to network for the women in the tech ecosystem. I've never had a time that I met CFA for things like advice, mentorship network etc and I didn't get it from him. And that has been a good source of inspiration to our organization, giving us a lot of leverage and network from other tech organizations.
I had the opportunity to run a program at GodoHub early 2020 and still have fond memories. It was easy to relate with other entrepreneurs who were building and solving problems at the space and the idea sharing moments were the icing on the cake - mind-blowing I should say really. The team on ground were quite helpful, effective and made every gathering seamless. I have great respect for the brain(s) behind this and the awesome team running it.
GoDo Hub is 'OXYGEN'; a platform where you rethink, reimagine, recreate and GoDo your ideas.
